3CM is a small organization located in Cochrane, Alberta on the border of the Canadian Rockies, just outside of Calgary. Our board members are all volunteer and the only paid staff that we have is Phil, who is directing APROCOLA in Honduras. Board members are "normal" people in normal jobs including banking, public accounting, engineering and construction. The president of 3CM has been involved in foreign development projects since 1976 when he went to Brazil for the first time and each board member contributes their life skills and passion to 3CM. We have collaborated with the Boys & Girls Club of Cochrane and are very grateful for the collaboration of the Alberta WildRose Foundation and the Canadian Consulate in Honduras.
While small, we have directly facilitated the participation of over 400 volunteers on short term project trips to Brazil, Mexico and Honduras as well as assisted in projects in Eastern Europe and Costa Rica. For the past 3 years, our focus has been predominantly on Honduras and the development of a local organization called APROCOLA (a Spanish acronym for Latin American Community Projects).
We would love to hear from you if you are interested in being part of one of our teams, or would like to know how to get more involved with this exciting work. Simply e-mail or telephone us at (403) 932-4205 and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Also, you can contact our Honduran partner directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
Tell us what you think about our web site, our organization, or anything else that comes to mind. We welcome all of your comments and suggestions.
